Follow these quick steps:
↓ Go to the Sell cryptocurrency page.
↓ Select your cryptocurrency and send the funds to the address shown. Once the transaction is confirmed, you will receive a unique barcode to use at the ATM.
↓ Wait for the transfer to be confirmed on the blockchain. You can check its status on the Check Transaction Status page. This usually takes a few minutes, although it can occasionally take up to around 40 minutes.
↓ Once the transaction is confirmed, go to your chosen Bitcoin ATM, scan the barcode and collect your cash.
Alternatively, you can sell your cryptocurrency directly at a Bitcoin ATM without using the website. Simply scan the QR code displayed on the ATM screen and follow the instructions.
Done—collect your cash!
The Bitcoin ATM printout contains two different codes, each with a separate purpose.
The QR code at the top is the address to which you send cryptocurrency when selling. Scan it with your phone to make the transfer quickly and accurately.
The barcode at the bottom is used to collect cash from the ATM. Scan it at a Bitcoin ATM to withdraw your funds.
A cryptocurrency wallet is a mobile application that lets you manage digital assets. You may choose any wallet that supports QR codes, such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask; no specific app is required.
If the amount dispensed is incorrect, contact our support team as soon as possible. Include details such as the ATM location, date, description of the issue and transaction ID. All contact options are listed on the Contact page.
You have two options:
1. Add the funds to a future withdrawal
If the remaining funds are associated with several transaction codes, or if additional cryptocurrency has been sent to the same address, the amounts can be combined and withdrawn in a single Bitcoin ATM transaction. Amounts below EUR 10 cannot be withdrawn because they do not cover the network fee. You can use the funds in a later transaction.
2. Generate a QR code for a specific EUR amount
Use the "QR for a specific EUR withdrawal" option. Enter the amount and generate the QR code; your wallet will automatically select the corresponding amount of cryptocurrency so that the cash withdrawal matches the amount entered. This helps avoid leaving a small unused balance.
Temporary blockchain congestion may have made the selected network fee too low for the transaction to be included in the next block. This can happen because of how blockchain networks work, regardless of the platform used.
In most cases (around 95%), the transaction is confirmed automatically within one to four days. For a purchase, support may be able to accelerate the transaction on request by increasing the network fee (miner fee). The additional fee is paid directly to miners, not to the operator. To request acceleration, contact support and include the transaction ID in the subject line.
Bitcoin ATMs are replenished regularly, subject to cash availability. Other customers also withdraw cash, so an ATM may run out quickly when demand is high. Check the current cash availability for a specific ATM on the operator's website. Contacting support through one of the methods listed in the Contact section may help arrange a faster refill at your chosen location.
If an insufficient-cash message appears after you scan the withdrawal code, the Bitcoin ATM will ask you to choose one of the available options:
return the cryptocurrency to a specified address;
return the cryptocurrency to the address from which it was sent.
Do not choose a return to the sending address when selling cryptocurrency through an exchange or when your wallet uses changing addresses. In that situation, keep the withdrawal code and use it to try the withdrawal again later.
If the transaction appears as "pending" on the operator's website but already has a completed status on Etherscan, this may be due to delays in data synchronization. In such situations, it is recommended to wait—the status is usually updated within 1-4 days.
If the information still differs after this time, please contact our support team using the form in the Contact section.
Contact the support team by email and include the transaction ID in the subject line so that the issue can be checked more quickly.
Blockchain transactions are designed to be irreversible. Because Bitcoin ATMs use blockchain networks, a completed transaction cannot be reversed.
Around 95% of transactions are confirmed within a few minutes.
If the network fee (miner fee) selected at the Bitcoin ATM is too low, confirmation may take from one to several days.
If your transaction has not been confirmed within the usual time, contact the support team.
During a Bitcoin ATM transaction, you select the network fee (miner fee) using a slider on the ATM screen. A higher fee generally increases the chance of faster confirmation. The average fee is around USD 2 and is paid directly to the miners who maintain the blockchain network.
In approximately 95% of cases, a long wait is caused by a network fee that was set too low. Allow up to four days for the transaction to be confirmed automatically. For future transactions, consider selecting a higher fee.
To request faster confirmation, or if more than four days have passed since the transaction, contact the support team and provide the transaction ID and a brief description of the issue.
A miner fee is the standard network fee charged for a blockchain transaction. It pays for the computing resources used to verify and confirm transactions on the cryptocurrency network. The average fee is around USD 2.
The fee is paid to miners around the world whose computing systems help add new blocks of transactions to the blockchain.
The network fee selected with the slider at the Bitcoin ATM affects confirmation time: the higher the fee, the faster the transaction is generally confirmed.
Contact the support team through one of the channels listed in the Contact section. Include the transaction ID in the subject line so that the issue can be checked and resolved more quickly.
AML (Anti-Money Laundering) refers to procedures and regulations designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. These are legal requirements for businesses operating in the European Union.
AML requirements are set out in EU directives on preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. The detailed provisions are available in legal acts published by EU institutions, including on the Lex Europa platform.
To unblock a transaction subject to the AML procedure, please contact the support team using the details available in the Contact section or the phone number displayed on the Bitcoin ATM.
When contacting support, have the following ready:
a photo of the receipt or the transaction ID;
the date, time and location of the transaction;
a scan or photo of both sides of your identity document (identity card or passport).
You will also need to answer questions about the transaction, including:
the purpose of the transaction;
the recipient of the transferred funds;
your familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency;
your awareness of restrictions on cryptocurrency payments imposed by banks;
whether you made the transaction voluntarily.
How should I scan the codes on the printout?
The printout contains two different codes:
QR code - used to send cryptocurrency to the specified address so that you can withdraw the equivalent amount in local currency,
Barcode—used to collect cash after the transaction has been confirmed.
Remember to scan the QR code with your phone and the barcode with the scanner at the ATM.
A temporary transaction block may result from the obligation to carry out AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures. These are legal requirements that apply to entities operating in the financial services sector and are designed to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
A hold may be placed on transactions requiring additional verification. If the funds are from a legitimate source, the verification will be completed as soon as possible or the funds will be returned.
KYC limits are determined by the regulations in force in the country where the transaction is carried out and may vary from country to country.
The current limits are available in the information bar at the top of the operator's home page.
