Our most popular Bitcoin ATM is located in Zurich, at the intersection of Zwinglistrasse and Langstrasse, in the building on the corner. Its central location makes the ATM easy to reach for both residents and visitors.
The Bitcoin ATM was installed at this location to make cryptocurrency more accessible and popular in Switzerland, according to the ATM's manufacturer. Zurich is also home to many other Bitcoin ATMs, making it one of the region's more important cryptocurrency exchange hubs.

Find the nearest Bitcoin ATM using the map, which shows hundreds of ATMs in your area. It provides current cash availability, opening hours for each location and direct links for navigation in Google Maps.

At the ATM, select "Bitcoin" and check the displayed selling rate. Then press the button to print a QR code containing the address to which you will send the cryptocurrency you are selling.

Make sure you have selected the correct cryptocurrency and network. Check the network fee (miner fee) shown on the screen, then use any cryptocurrency wallet on your phone to scan the QR code.

If you do not want to wait at the ATM, you can sell your cryptocurrency now on this page and collect the cash later from any Bitcoin ATM. By the time you reach your chosen ATM, the transaction should already be confirmed on the blockchain.

Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, scan the second code - the barcode - on the printout. The Bitcoin ATM will then dispense your cash. To check whether the transaction has been confirmed, use the contact details shown on the ATM.

The average Bitcoin ATM fee is about 7%, including in Switzerland. Some operators offer promotions such as a 0% fee or bonuses in BTC, ETH or CHF. To see the fee that applies today, check the operator's fee table.
Compare the final amount you will receive rather than the fee percentage alone, as operators may calculate fees differently. Current Bitcoin ATM fees are listed on the website of the operator active in Switzerland.
Operators often announce reduced fees on social media, including Telegram and Facebook. Following these channels can help you catch special offers. To buy Bitcoin without an operator fee, look out for the operator's "0% fee" promotions.
Check the fee on the operator's website, then confirm it on the ATM screen. You can use the mobile-friendly map to check current cash availability. At the ATM, scan the QR code with your phone to complete the transaction.
The average Bitcoin ATM fee worldwide is around 7%, and fees in Switzerland are similar. Some operators, however, run 0% fee promotions or add a bonus in Bitcoin, ETH or CHF to a transaction - for example, +2% in ETH. To see the fee that applies today, check the Bitcoin ATM operator's fee table.

Before using a Bitcoin ATM, have your cryptocurrency wallet ready. Cryptocurrency is recorded on the blockchain, while a wallet lets you manage your balance and access your funds using a private key. A wallet can be a mobile app, a web wallet, a hardware device or a paper wallet. Make sure you also have your wallet's QR code or public address ready.

Find the nearest Bitcoin ATM in Switzerland to buy BTC. Use the map of available ATMs and check their opening hours, current exchange rate, and applicable fees. Before visiting, it is also worth making sure that the ATM has sufficient cash.

At the Bitcoin ATM, follow the instructions on the screen and provide your wallet address by scanning its QR code or entering the alphanumeric address manually. For a mobile wallet, display the QR code on your phone. For a paper wallet, enter the address printed or written on the paper.

After you insert the cash, the Bitcoin ATM automatically converts it into Bitcoin or another selected cryptocurrency at the current exchange rate, including the operator fee. Each transaction also includes a miner fee, a network fee paid to blockchain miners. This standard network fee is independent of the ATM operator and varies with network congestion.

This is your final opportunity to check all transaction details carefully, especially the amount, wallet address and fees charged. If everything is correct and you are ready to continue, confirm the transaction by pressing the appropriate button on the ATM screen.

How long does Bitcoin take to arrive after a purchase? The funds usually reach your wallet within a few minutes, although confirmation may take longer when the network is congested or the transaction fee is low. If the transfer is unusually slow, contact the operator at the official email address.

A Bitcoin ATM lets you exchange cash for Bitcoin. Every ATM lets you buy cryptocurrency with cash (a one-way ATM), while only some also let you sell cryptocurrency and collect banknotes. All Bitcoin ATMs in Switzerland listed on this website are two-way ATMs, so they support both buying and selling cryptocurrency. In other words, this website lists only two-way ATMs offering full cryptocurrency-to-cash and cash-to-cryptocurrency functionality.
Customers using a Bitcoin ATM or the operator's website can see the service fee charged for a transaction. It is usually shown as a percentage of the transaction value rather than a fixed currency amount. According to CoinATMRadar , the average market fee is around 7%. The Bitcoin ATMs listed on this page are often an exception: the operator in Switzerland regularly runs 0% fee promotions. These promotions encourage new users to try the ATMs.
Some Bitcoin ATMs are operated by companies that have their own trading platform or cryptocurrency wallet. In those cases, users may be required to create an account, much like at a traditional bank. The Bitcoin ATMs described on this website work differently: all you need is cash and any cryptocurrency wallet, such as a mobile app. You do not need to create an account or provide your email address or name. We list only ATMs that let you buy Bitcoin without registration.
Bitcoin ATMs are a secure way to buy and sell cryptocurrency because they do not have access to your wallet. Cryptocurrency exchanges have been attacked in the past, but Bitcoin ATMs have not. Bitcoin ATMs do not store your funds; the entire transaction takes place directly on the blockchain. You retain full control because transactions are completed without intermediaries and require only a wallet address. This significantly reduces the risks associated with data theft or platform failure.
If you have a problem with the Bitcoin ATM or have any questions, please contact our support team. We will be happy to help and quickly find the right solution.

Done—collect your cash!
The Bitcoin ATM printout contains two different codes, each with a separate purpose.
The QR code at the top is the address to which you send cryptocurrency when selling. Scan it with your phone to make the transfer quickly and accurately.
The barcode at the bottom is used to collect cash from the ATM. Scan it at a Bitcoin ATM to withdraw your funds.
A cryptocurrency wallet is a mobile application that lets you manage digital assets. You may choose any wallet that supports QR codes, such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask; no specific app is required.
If the amount dispensed is incorrect, contact our support team as soon as possible. Include details such as the ATM location, date, description of the issue and transaction ID. All contact options are listed on the Contact page.
You have two options:
1. Add the funds to a future withdrawal
If the remaining funds are associated with several transaction codes, or if additional cryptocurrency has been sent to the same address, the amounts can be combined and withdrawn in a single Bitcoin ATM transaction. Amounts below EUR 10 cannot be withdrawn because they do not cover the network fee. You can use the funds in a later transaction.
2. Generate a QR code for a specific EUR amount
Use the "QR for a specific EUR withdrawal" option. Enter the amount and generate the QR code; your wallet will automatically select the corresponding amount of cryptocurrency so that the cash withdrawal matches the amount entered. This helps avoid leaving a small unused balance.
Temporary blockchain congestion may have made the selected network fee too low for the transaction to be included in the next block. This can happen because of how blockchain networks work, regardless of the platform used.
In most cases (around 95%), the transaction is confirmed automatically within one to four days. For a purchase, support may be able to accelerate the transaction on request by increasing the network fee (miner fee). The additional fee is paid directly to miners, not to the operator. To request acceleration, contact support and include the transaction ID in the subject line.
Bitcoin ATMs are replenished regularly, subject to cash availability. Other customers also withdraw cash, so an ATM may run out quickly when demand is high. Check the current cash availability for a specific ATM on the operator's website. Contacting support through one of the methods listed in the Contact section may help arrange a faster refill at your chosen location.
If an insufficient-cash message appears after you scan the withdrawal code, the Bitcoin ATM will ask you to choose one of the available options:
return the cryptocurrency to a specified address;
return the cryptocurrency to the address from which it was sent.
Do not choose a return to the sending address when selling cryptocurrency through an exchange or when your wallet uses changing addresses. In that situation, keep the withdrawal code and use it to try the withdrawal again later.
If the transaction appears as "pending" on the operator's website but already has a completed status on Etherscan, this may be due to delays in data synchronization. In such situations, it is recommended to wait—the status is usually updated within 1-4 days.
If the information still differs after this time, please contact our support team using the form in the Contact section.
Contact the support team by email and include the transaction ID in the subject line so that the issue can be checked more quickly.
Blockchain transactions are designed to be irreversible. Because Bitcoin ATMs use blockchain networks, a completed transaction cannot be reversed.
Around 95% of transactions are confirmed within a few minutes.
If the network fee (miner fee) selected at the Bitcoin ATM is too low, confirmation may take from one to several days.
If your transaction has not been confirmed within the usual time, contact the support team.
During a Bitcoin ATM transaction, you select the network fee (miner fee) using a slider on the ATM screen. A higher fee generally increases the chance of faster confirmation. The average fee is around USD 2 and is paid directly to the miners who maintain the blockchain network.
In approximately 95% of cases, a long wait is caused by a network fee that was set too low. Allow up to four days for the transaction to be confirmed automatically. For future transactions, consider selecting a higher fee.
To request faster confirmation, or if more than four days have passed since the transaction, contact the support team and provide the transaction ID and a brief description of the issue.
A miner fee is the standard network fee charged for a blockchain transaction. It pays for the computing resources used to verify and confirm transactions on the cryptocurrency network. The average fee is around USD 2.
The fee is paid to miners around the world whose computing systems help add new blocks of transactions to the blockchain.
The network fee selected with the slider at the Bitcoin ATM affects confirmation time: the higher the fee, the faster the transaction is generally confirmed.
Contact the support team through one of the channels listed in the Contact section. Include the transaction ID in the subject line so that the issue can be checked and resolved more quickly.
AML (Anti-Money Laundering) refers to procedures and regulations designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. These are legal requirements for businesses operating in the European Union.
AML requirements are set out in EU directives on preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. The detailed provisions are available in legal acts published by EU institutions, including on the Lex Europa platform.
To unblock a transaction subject to the AML procedure, please contact the support team using the details available in the Contact section or the phone number displayed on the Bitcoin ATM.
When contacting support, have the following ready:
a photo of the receipt or the transaction ID;
the date, time and location of the transaction;
a scan or photo of both sides of your identity document (identity card or passport).
You will also need to answer questions about the transaction, including:
the purpose of the transaction;
the recipient of the transferred funds;
your familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency;
your awareness of restrictions on cryptocurrency payments imposed by banks;
whether you made the transaction voluntarily.
How should I scan the codes on the printout?
The printout contains two different codes:
QR code - used to send cryptocurrency to the specified address so that you can withdraw the equivalent amount in local currency,
Barcode—used to collect cash after the transaction has been confirmed.
Remember to scan the QR code with your phone and the barcode with the scanner at the ATM.
A temporary transaction block may result from the obligation to carry out AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures. These are legal requirements that apply to entities operating in the financial services sector and are designed to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
A hold may be placed on transactions requiring additional verification. If the funds are from a legitimate source, the verification will be completed as soon as possible or the funds will be returned.
KYC limits are determined by the regulations in force in the country where the transaction is carried out and may vary from country to country.
The current limits are available in the information bar at the top of the operator's home page.
